I am not entirely sure how a philosopher can claim to be objective yet readily changes their view in light of new information. If the view was truly objectively reached then that view should not have been wrong or had needed to be revised.

It is far safer to hold that views are always subjective but may approach objectivity but never reaching it. This is a more honest understanding of knowledge.
